The Washington County Fair features two action packed nights of Rodeo sanctioned by the Mid-States Rodeo Association.
Friday & Saturday performances start at 7:30 pm.
Cowboys and Cowgirls are competing for over $6300 in prize money in the following events:
- Bareback Riding
- Calf Roping
- 45 and over Calf Roping
- Breakaway Roping
- Saddle Bronc Riding
- Steer Wrestling
- Team Roping
- Barrel Racing
- Mutton Busting
- and Bull Riding.

A big highlight of the rodeo is the Mutton Busting.
Children ages 5-7 who are interested in participating can call Kevin & Missy Wiemer 402-456-7498. We limit the entries to 10 riders on Friday and 10 riders on Saturday. Pre-registration is requested and starts July 14, 2008. No past riders are accepted so we can give everyone a chance to enter. A parent or guardian is required to sign a waiver form and helmets must be worn for protection.
Admission Cost: Ages 13-Adult $7.00, 9-13 $3.00, 8 and under are free. |
